OMA - ART

Welcome to OMA ART!! Hello, My name is Jessica Carter and I am the Art Teacher here at Hudlow Elementary!!  I am so excited to be able to bring Visual Arts to your student(s) this year. I have been teaching Visual Arts for over 20years  I look forward to getting to know your student(s) during the year in the Art Room. Yes, that is right, room 11 is now the official Art Studio. Students will have art one day a week for the entire year.  I suggest on the day they have art to make sure they aren’t wearing their best outfit because sometimes art can be a little messy and accidents do happen. Since, this is the first time Hudlow will have art and its own art studio I am in need of some recyclable items if you are able to help out (listed below). Again, I am so looking forward to being a part of the Hudlow community and even more excited to be a Hawk.

Needed Items:

  • Newspaper
  • Magazines
  • Brown paper grocery bags
  • Clean plastic container with lids (sour cream, yogurt, cottage cheese, etc)
  • Small glass jars/mason jars (olives, pickles, jelly etc,)

If students are looking for some extra art to do and to sharpen their drawing skills, I encourage them to check out Art for Kids Hub on kids YouTube and their website.
